As spring draws nearer and the days get longer, farmers around Europe welcome their first harvest of strawberries. Lasting from spring to early summer, strawberry season is the time to get a chock-full of vitamin C and antioxidants. We created the perfect refreshment for the hotter months, bringing together strawberry and mint for an infusion that will undoubtedly quench your thirst on a hot afternoon.
- 150 g strawberries
- 4 g fresh mint
- 1000 ml drinking water
To ensure a smooth cooking experience, please read the Smartwhip care and safety guidelines before usage.
- Wash the strawberries and chop them into evenly sliced pieces.
- Place the strawberries and mint into the siphon, then add the water.
- Connect your Smartwhip to the siphon and charge it to 13 bar. Disconnect your Smartwhip and place the siphon in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- When the infusion time has passed, vent the siphon to release the built-up gas completely, then take out the strawberry and mint infusion.
Tip: Hold a bowl above the siphon nozzle to catch any liquid that sprays out.
Sieve the strawberry and mint infusion to remove the strawberry and mint pieces, or serve the infusion as it is, along with some ice. To sweeten things up, add some honey or stevia.
